Somehow, the Vaults bandwagon left me when it came by. Or I was not listening. Because if —for the purpose of this article— their instrumental pop is not some of the most soothing ear-candy you've heard in months (and maybe years), I don't know what is.
But don't confuse instrumental pop for bland, this one has a personality of its own. Here's a selection of my favourite songs (all of them):
Premonitions wasn't the first Vaults song I heard, it was the second. But once I heard it, it stole my ears and my heart from the start. It wraps you in its bassline and the vocals lift you to far places you've been to few times.
Lifespan's hook is just made for the radio. True indie radio.
